Key Challenge

Situation

Due to time constraints, we couldn't follow the chronological order, as it would have resulted in missing the launch date.

Task

I am tasked to fast-track the timeline without compromising the scope or increasing the budget.

Action

I collaborated with our Art Director to create a timeline that allowed our team to work in parallel and strategically bring additional designers onto the project to expedite the publication design.

Result

As a result, we launched the website on time and successfully delivered all assets on time and within budget.

Key Actions

  • Most deliverables hinged on the approval of the look and feel. Therefore, we prioritized creating three design concepts for the look and feel and sent them to the client for review. While the client evaluated these concepts, we began designing the web wireframe as soon as near-final content was available.

  • By the time we received feedback on the concepts, we had low-fidelity wireframes ready for client review and approval. Additionally, with the publication content in hand, we started working on the layout design. As the client reviewed the wireframes, we finalized the logo and visual identity and proceeded with the publication layout, ensuring that all elements progressed concurrently.

  • Once the concept was approved, we quickly applied it to the high-fidelity wireframes. At this stage, we brought in the publication designer to create layouts based on the approved concept.
